Let's talk design!

At the end of January we plan on moving to a small 2 bedroom home. When I say small, I mean small. I actually am looking forward to it though. We really need to start downsizing on our clutter. My problem comes in with design. Let me tell you that I am the least design savvy person around. I just don't know how to pull things together!

The first room I plan on focusing on is Natalie's room. My super amazing friend put together this design board for me.

As you can see I plan on doing Natalie's room in purples. Her walls will be a dove gray color like the background of the design board shows. I plan on making some of the throw pillows for the floor myself. I'll probably do it in a similar purple fabric which is shown as well as some black damask and grey pillows.

I plan on using the fabric below to make her a bed skirt as well as a pillow cover for her crib. I might even try to make a comforter for her out of it!

I'm going to sew the curtains with a dark purple fabric. The fabric I bought is a very heavy fabric so I hope that will help keep warmth in and light out.

All I really need to figure out now is what I'm going to put on the walls. I would love a cute vintage style mirror to go on the walls as well as some black frames. Prints that I like have been hard for me to find. I've searched all over Etsy and haven't found anything I like. I'm thinking of also trying to throw in some pops of green. I'm just not sure how I want to do that yet.

So, anybody have ideas for me?
